Contracting

Every engagement is governed by a written statement of work naming the deliverables, acceptance criteria, exclusions, people, fee and payment schedule. Indicative prices on the engagements pages exclude VAT where applicable; the agreed fee is the one in the statement of work.

Intellectual property and licensing

Ownership and licensing of deliverables are agreed in the statement of work. Where a deliverable uses open-source software — including Neul Labs’ own public projects — that software stays under its own licence, recorded per repository and release. There is no blanket licence across the Neul Labs portfolio.

Data protection

Neul Labs processes personal data under UK data-protection law; the website’s handling is described in the privacy policy. Where an engagement requires processing personal data on your behalf, data-processing terms are agreed before access is granted.

Security practice

Least-privilege access, synthetic or minimised data first, non-production environments by default and access removed when the work ends. Sensitive material moves through a channel agreed for the purpose, never the public website form. See how we work for the detail.

Neul Labs does not claim certifications, platform partner status or customer endorsements it has not been awarded. Vendor names on this site describe technical compatibility only. See the recognition policy.

Supplier onboarding

  1. 1Send your NDA, supplier questionnaire and contract terms with the enquiry, so review runs in parallel with scoping.
  2. 2We return the completed forms with the details that apply to Neul Labs Limited.
  3. 3The statement of work is agreed, including access, data handling and acceptance.
  4. 4Access is provisioned at the least privilege the first milestone needs.

Questions procurement teams ask

Can you work under our contract terms?

Often, yes. Send your master services agreement or supplier terms with the enquiry and we will review them alongside the scope. Where we contract on our own terms, the statement of work sets out deliverables, acceptance, fees and ownership.

Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement before seeing the system?

Yes. A mutual NDA before any confidential material is shared is normal and we are happy to sign yours.

Do you subcontract?

Occasionally, when a project needs a specialism or capacity beyond the founder. Any specialist is named in the statement of work, bound by the same confidentiality terms and remains Neul Labs’ responsibility.

How do you handle personal data?

Under UK data-protection law. Where an engagement requires us to process personal data on your behalf, the data-processing terms are agreed before access is granted, and we start with synthetic or minimised data wherever the work allows.

Onboarding us as a supplier?

Send the forms with a short description of the engagement and we will turn them around alongside the scope.
